About Me

Hi I’m Elyce. If you have click on “About Me” you are probably wondering who I am and what is this blog about. Well let me start by telling you just a little about me. I’m a processor/assistant for an aircraft insurance company here in Dallas, TX, and I’m a self published author. I’m single, no kids and currently living with my two sisters and the three of us help take care of our mom. We have a lot of fun together and since we don't have kids we tend to act like kids, maybe we're just kids at heart.

We have lived here since 2005 and before that we lived in California, Utah, Nevada, Idaho and Virginia. I also spent eighteen months in Australia serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We have five cats, so you might say I’m a crazy cat lady, but that’s ok. And finally I am a self proclaimed Disney freak, but you know, that's ok too.

I got interested in blogging a few years ago. I wanted to start an experiment about wearing make up for a year since I don’t really wear it and see how people would react and how it would make me feel. It went pretty good for a while, but then after the year was over I closed my blog because I felt I had nothing more to say or contribute.

Now after months of not writing I decided that I missed writing and realized that I did have a voice and something to say, and even if I’m the only one who hears it, it needs to be heard. So I made up my mind to do it and here I am for no other reason then to have fun, express myself, and to find ways to just make up my mind and do…it.
