So
I've been thinking a lot about my pursuit in finding my Joy and I thought today
I would focus on the things in life that I do to bring me the most joy in my
life.
I don't think I did this recently on this blog, but I might
have done it long time ago I don't remember. I did about a month ago put out a challenge on Facebook for
people to write down what their top 10 things were that brought them joy and
post it. Not to think about it just write. I don't know if the challenge was to
hard or they just didn't want to do it, but no one did it.
Anyway, here's my list;
1. FAMILY |
2. FRIENDS |
3. DISNEY |
4. MY RELIGION |
5. MY CATS |
![]() |
6. WRITING |
7. CHOCOLATE, 8. GETTING OFF WORK, 9. RECEIVING COMPLIMENTS,
10. HAVING FUN AND GOOFING OFF |
So why did I do this? Well I was listening to a video like I
often do, from a woman named Abraham Hicks, I know strange name for woman. and
she said, "Look for Joy in logical
places, not in complicated places... Look at things and if it feels Joyful keep
looking at it... Think of things that make you feel good and remember them...If
you are having fun you are at the height of your allowance for Joy... Why do we
want this? Because we believe we will feel better in our experience and we want
to feel good."
I'll do one better. I want to feel GREAT! We all have things
going on in our lives sometimes we put on a happy face and no one even knows
what we are going through. I know I do that all the time. I believe that if I
continually work and focus on finding my Joy I can become the person I want to
be.
I still struggle every day not to loose my Joy, but I find it easier to find it when it gets lost.
Have a great day and remember that only you can Make up Your
Mind and Do It.
