Finding Joy in Sisterhood

Hi everyone, thank you for stopping by.

So last week I mentioned a couple of cool things that I did and I told you that I would tell you more about it this week.

First off my church, which is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, has a world wide women's organization called Relief Society where we come together as sisters in the gospel to learn and grow, help each other and become a better stronger daughter of our Father in Heaven.

Well last week was our annual women's conference where we listen to leaders of our church speak and inspire and teach us. The talks spoken on were;

He Ask US to be His Hands
What Shall We Do?
I Was a Stranger.
Trust in That Spirit Which Leadeth to Do Good

Later in the week after a great night of inspiration we celebrated the birthday of this organization and got together as a local congregation of women and just enjoyed each others company and spirit.

As I went to both of these events I couldn't help but think of the strong sisterhood we have as women. Not just in religion but just being women. Young, Old, Short, Tall, Fat Thin, Black, White, when we are unified we are Strong.

Have you ever wondered why it hurts so much when another woman lets you down, because she is your sister, and for a sister to let you down cuts deeper than just a person.

This got me thinking about all the other women in my life. So instead of boring you with telling you how I feel about them and the past few weeks I thought I would show you.

I just want to thank all the women who helped make this video possible. And to all the women in my life, thank you and I love you.
