Thanks for stopping by. This week is going to be short, because I'm going on a trip and I have a lot to do, but I had to tell you about the last few days.
Wednesday morning I received a text from my sister that the night before my oldest brother had gotten in a bad motor cycle accident. Well just for a moment my heart stopped and just for a quick second I braced myself for the worse news possible, but then came the two little letters that calmed and started my heart again, "but he's OK."
Even though OK meant he wasn't gone it didn't mean he was OK. He had received a broken wrist that needs surgery to fix and he has multiple fractures to his face from having a pick up drive over his head. He actually went into surgery yesterday and it took 3 hours to repair the damage.
So why am I sharing this? If you read my last post I talked about a friend of mine loosing her husband and son. That could of been me, but a brother. If you have been reading my other post you might recall me mentioning Amanda Gore, a motivational speaker that I refer to a lot. Well, she has said that finding Joy starts with gratitude, and after hearing the news of my brother, I have to say that is so true.
As soon as I new he was still alive, because you know what the statistics for survival on a motorcycle are like, I gave thanks for that. My gratitude has continued to grow as we found out there is no brain damage and he is not paralyzed any where. True he still has a long road of recovery, but compared to what it could have been is truly something to be Joyful about.
So to add to this, I received two messages from what I believe was from a loving Father in Heaven to let me know he is aware of the situation and that Joy is there for all of us even when times are hard. We just need to have faith and look for it.

The first was from a fortune from a fortune cookie I got at lunch. The second is a inspirational message a lady at work sends to me everyday from Neale Donald Walsch's website CWGPortal.com
Thanks for stopping by have a great week and remember, only you can make up your mind and do it.
