7 Gratitude Exercises

Hi everyone,
Sorry I missed last week with it being Memorial weekend and my sisters birthday weekend I didn't have as much time to write and I was going to FINALLY put up my trip video and of course I had some more technical difficulties. Urrr. I'm starting to think I'm not meant to post the video. Anyway on with my post

In my last post I talked about Amanda Gore and how in her book "Joy is an Inside Job" joy starts with gratitude and that we should put on our Gratitude Glasses so we can see our blessings better. Well today I want to follow up with the next step she give to helping us with gratitude.

In the book she talks about 7 exercises we can do to work on finding gratitude. She calls them
Joy-ercises.

1. Practice Gratitude to the Divine - Who ever that may be to you.

2. Practice Gratitude in the Work Place - Find Gratitude with the job you have, your coworkers. The fact you get a pay check.

3. Practice Gratitude for your Home - Home is where your heart is. Look past the cracks in the walls and the drippy fauset or the mess the kids have made this is where you live and where memories are made. Some people don't have this.

4. Practice Gratitude for the Past - Some past experiences may be good, some may be bad. Take the lessons you have learned and carry on and use them to be a better you.

5. Practice Gratitude for your Body - Are you healthy and strong? Is your heart still pumping. Are you still here? The body is a remarkable machine and we are each designed to work a certain we. Love and be grateful for the body you have and take care of it, it's the only one we have.

6. Practice Gratitude for Nature - God or who ever your Divine might be has given us such a beautiful world take a moment and be grateful for it.

7. Practice Gratitude for the Heart - For a healthy pumping working heart and for the tender emotional feeling heart. I heard somewhere that JOY starts in your heart.

Well these are the 7 Joy-ercises, The definition I gave is what I got from each one. Her book explains each one in more detail.

Well that is it for now. I'm going to take this list and work on one Joy-ercise each day of the week starting  tomorrow with the Gratitude with the Divine and when is the best day to do that for me the day I take to Worship my Father in Heaven. I hope all of you will do the same.

Well thanks for stopping by and let me know what Joy-ercise you want to work on and for more on this check out my new Youtube Channel, Make Up My Mind and Do It. Have a great day, be safe and remember; only you can make up your mind and do it.
